I was absolutely delighted by my first visit to Sangster’s Cafe! Though I’ve been through Powder Springs many times I hadn’t noticed it until recently when we moved here. But it’s a gem in the downtown area right next to the amphitheater. Right when I walked in I was greeted by a warm, welcoming coffeehouse vibe. The employees were friendly and helpful as I decided what I wanted to get. I decided on the iced Fredo Espresso for myself and got a hot latte for my wife. I was impressed as I saw them making my iced drink that they used the large whiskey-style ice cubes which not only look cool but also keep the drink from getting watered down. I love that unique attention to detail. The drink itself was delicious. I could have drank two! But I did have to sneak a drink of my wife’s as well, which also was really good. Definitely would recommend this place if you’re looking for a high-quality fresh drink or a cool place to hangout inside or outside. They freshly roast and grind their own beans that they source from their family farm in the Jamaican Blue Mountains. Trust me not all coffee is created equal. This is the good stuff! So smooth! Very cute small coffee shop. They have a larger patio when the weather is nice. Easy to miss as the shop next door had a for rent sign in it. That have multiple entrances, so you can come in the back. I really liked their roasting machine! The staff was super friendly. I like that they have large cube ice, ice melts slower that way, so you get more of your drink and it starts colder longer.
My only complaint is that I hadn’t found it sooner! I go to a lot of coffee shops doing school work but this one really stood out to me. Really great space to work, plenty outlets, cozy vibe. And service was awesome! The assistant manager, Kia, got me right. I told her it was my first time and she let me sample some things and told me about all the events they have going on. This will definitely be a regular spot. Not to mention, the coffee was 10x better than all my regular spots. Whether you do it black or you like lattes and other stuff, I assure you, it is exceptional! Last thing, I love that the staff is super interactive and will chat with you! Love being able to strike up quick convos with people and it’s hard to find that kind of personal touch at most places!
My family frequents Sangsters about 4 to 5times a week and asked me to come meet them. It was my first time and certainly not my last It's a cozy coffee shop with that offers great treats, great customer service, great music and mood. I was recently encouraged to try matcha and my second time having one was at here. I had a vanilla lavender matcha blend that was excellent! Can't wait to go back and try it again!
I always enjoy this place! This time I tried the bagel and it was really nice and fresh. Last time I had a raspberry danish that was to die for! My boyfriend gets their coffee and I get their espresso, both are bold, strong, flavorful and high quality. There is outdoor seating and indoor seating, albeit not a whole lot of indoor seating. On pretty days I prefer to sit outside anyway, the back patio is nice.
I recently visited Sangster's Cafe and was blown away! As someone who appreciates vegan and vegetarian options in any environment, I was thrilled to see a variety on the menu. We ordered the spicy chicken waffle, which had a perfect balance of heat and sweetness, crispy hash browns, a flavorful veggie patty, and two incredible drinks: a caramel matcha and a lavender oat milk latte. Everything was absolutely delicious! The service was friendly and efficient, and I can't wait to return and try more of their menu.
I absolutely love it here! I come almost everyday! The atmosphere, coffee and food is unmatched! I’ve brought several friends here and they love it too! My go to is an iced dirty chai with cinnamon and sweet foam and their egg bites and Jamaican patties are so yummy! Jewell, Aryelle & Rachel are the best! They make the best and prettiest drinks! Quality, kindness are their top priority and the atmosphere is a must see!
Starbucks might be trying their hardest to bring back the coffeehouse experience, but Sangster’s doesn’t even need to try. The atmosphere is beyond beautiful here. Located in the heart of Powder Springs, it’s hard not to feel welcomed. The food was exceptional (quality 1000/10) and the service was amazing. I definitely recommend trying this place at least once, because I promise you’ll want to keep coming back. We had their fruit danishes and I don’t think I’ll ever eat a danish that isn’t from here again. Their coffee is also reasonably priced and some of the best coffee I’ve had in a while.
